Our Commitment

We believe that the door to salvation is always open and so are the doors to our church.   Bound by an unrelenting submission to the Lord Jesus Christ, we are guided by His word and governed by His Spirit.

Without compromise, we preach, teach and defend the truth in love towards the fulfillment of His Great Commission.   To Him Who is worthy of all praise, honor and glory we offer thanksgiving as we walk in union with "The Prince of Peace."

(Isaiah 9: 6)

The Gift of Giving

SERMON BRIEF

March 1, 2026

Unmerited favor, undeserved privilege, unwarranted benefit.  These definitions of the word  “grace” reverberate in the core of our being as souls who have been delivered from the looming horrors of eternal separation from God.   As a result, we have the ability, though compassed about with the infirmity of our flesh, to find joy in the midst of tribulation, strength when under pressure or persecution and peace when the whole world is on fire.

During a time of torment, God spoke to the Apostle Paul in  2 Corinthians 12: 9  and said,  “…My grace is sufficient for thee:  for My strength is made perfect in weakness.”   Paul’s response was this:   “Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.”    In other words, whatever I am going through, it is not worthy to be compared to the glory that is in us through Christ Jesus.

And the greatest gift of grace we have ever received is when our Heavenly Father sacrificed the life of His beloved Son that we might be restored to a right relationship with Him.   “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.  For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world;  but that the world through Him might be saved.”  (John 3: 16-17)

So let us realize, recognize, acknowledge and act like the the gift of salvation through Jesus Christ our Lord is everything we will ever need.   Therefore, in the times of any distress, let not your heart be troubled but be reconciled unto God and  “…come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.”   (Hebrews 4: 16)

Praise His holy name continuously and say,  “To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever.  Amen.”  (Jude 1: 25)

FOUNDATIONAL SCRIPTURE:

Psalm 32: 1-11

Benediction:   "But He knoweth the way that I take:  when He hath tried me, I shall come forth as gold.   My foot hath held His steps, His way have I kept, and not declined.  Neither have I gone back from the commandment of His lips; I have esteemed the words of His mouth more than my necessary food.  "  (Job 23: 10-12)
