Pastor Hazel
After the Lord’s appeal to her heart nearly forty years ago, Pastor Hazel humbly submitted and has remained true to her calling. Her enduring faith, and a fervent desire to be an instrument of the will of God, has truly been a blessing to the ministry of The Church of God in Jesus Christ.
In March 2009, the Lord revealed a need for an additional pastor in His church. That need was expressed through her adoption into the “Pastoral” ministry. Assuming the roles of both a devoted wife and “Pastor”, the Lord has entrusted Pastor Hazel to not only preach His Word, but to demonstrate a calm confidence in the defense of the truth of His Word.
Pastor Hazel’s persistence in the enforcement of purity and holiness in the Body of Christ is her hallmark. This is clearly indicative of the Light that shines in and through her. Consequently, Pastor Hazel is a shining example of an unfailing love for the brotherhood, and a sincere compassion coupled with courage.
Pastor Steve
Pastor Steve is the quintessential spiritual warrior, crusader and a blessing to the Body of Christ. As a former member of our armed forces many years ago, his life took a dramatic turn when the Lord granted him the gift of His great grace.
Upon his return to the states, he found himself being drawn back to the church he attended during his youth: The Church of God in Jesus Christ. Little did he realize, though his honorable service to his country had come to an end, his enlistment in the Army of God’s Kingdom was about to begin.
Owing to his loyal service to the ministry, in September 1987, the Lord bestowed upon him the gift of “Help”. His growth and maturity in the ministry became more and more apparent to those he ministered to. In August, 2003, the Lord rewarded Pastor Steve’s commitment to servanthood once again. The fruit of his diligence in obedience to the Lord paved the way for his “Teaching” ministry.
In December 2005, the Lord charged Him with the ultimate responsibility of the care and feeding of His flock. Thus was the beginning of his “Pastoral” ministry in the Church of God in Jesus Christ. Pastor Steve’s passion for preaching and teaching the truths of the Gospel is in full force and effect today. Clearly, his faith stands firmly in the power of God, and is not a function of the wisdom of men.
Pastor Rick
Pastor Rick has been blessed with an abundance of talents and gifts that contribute immeasurably to the work of the ministry, the perfecting of the saints and the edification of the body of Christ. Being a "Warrior of the Word", he is a skilled communicator endowed not only with wisdom and discernment, but with humility and compassion as well.
His passion is to teach, by example, to love others, sacrifice of self and complete devotion to Almighty God as shown by our Lord Jesus Christ. Having been given a ministry both in and out of the church, Brother Rick has done the work of an evangelist by delivering the good news of Jesus Christ, furnishing Spirit-led inspiration and providing godly encouragement to all people.

Pastor Rick’s obedience to his divine mission and commitment to his gracious commission, has served to encourage all people to continually press toward the mark of the high calling by seeking the only path that leads to the saving of the soul, which is true intimacy with God through His Son Jesus Christ.
